
The Longest Bill
The longest bill belongs to the Australian pelican (Pelecanus conspicillatus) and measures 13-18.5 in (34-47 cm) long. The longest beak in relation to overall body length is that of the sword-billed hummingbird (Ensifera ensifera) found in the Andes from Venezuela to Bolivia. The beak measures 4 in making it longer than the bird's actual body (excluding tail).
